Workshop organisé dans le cadre du GDRE BioArch (Groupement de Recherche Européen « Bioarchaeological Investigations of the Interactions between Holocene Human Societies and their Environments») dont fait partie l’UMR 5133 Archéorient. Ce workshop a pour but la mise en évidence de l’éventail des possibilités offertes par la paléoparasitologie pour l’étude des interactions entre les sociétés du passé et leur environnement. Il vise également à renforcer les collaborations dans ce domaine entre les membres des différents instituts européens du GDRE BioArch et à en mettre en place de nouvelles (y compris avec des scientifiques non-membres du GDRE) afin de développer les études paléoparasitologiques en Europe.
This workshop, organized by the European Research Network « Bioarchaeological Investigations of the Interactions between Holocene Human Societies and theirEnvironments – BioArch » in which the Archéorient laboratory (UMR 5133) is involved, aims to point out the range of possibilies that paleoparasitology offers when investigating the interactions between ancient human societies and their environments Its goal is also to reinforce existing collaborations on this topic between members of the BioArch groups as well as to establish new ones (including collaborations with scientists out of the network) in order to develop palaeoparasitological studies in Europe.
